At the heart of the kit is the Tabcat V2 Handset, a compact directional locator that uses advanced RF technology to guide you straight to your cat. Simply press a button, and the handset sends a signal to your cat’s tag. LED lights shift from red to amber to green as you close in, paired with a beeping tone that gets faster the nearer you are — no guesswork, no staring at a phone screen.

With a range of up to 150 metres in open air, the Tabcat V2 can locate your cat through bushes, behind sheds, or in the neighbour’s garage. It pinpoints your cat’s location to within 2.5cm — about 1 inch — and runs on long-lasting batteries that can last for months. No app, no subscription, no internet connection needed. The handset can be paired with up to four tags in total, so if you have more cats to track, additional tags are available separately in a pack of two on our website.
